    The annual Baseball Rules Clinic for commissioners will be conducted on Friday, January 21, 2022 at 5pm via ZOOM Meeting.


    Please note that a representative of your local association is required to attend the meeting in order for your officials to be eligible for State Championship assignments.

    We understand that there has been some confusion regarding the main NFHS Baseball rule change for the 2017 season.  Our goal is to clarify, in writing, our expectations for baseball umpires when implementing this rule change for the upcoming season.

    This course is designed exclusively for officials at the high school level and introduces new officials or individuals interested in becoming an official to the world of interscholastic officiating. The course, which takes about 40 minutes to complete, covers topics such as the basics of becoming and staying an official, the science of officiating a contest, the art of officiating a contest and putting it all together.  This course is available at and is free for registered OSAA Officials (enter your email address at checkout).  This course also satisfies the OCEP Principles requirement.
